In Case Of An Emergency

1. Dial 911.
2. Provide dispatch with the exact location of the emergency as well as the exact nature of the emergency.  Please remain on the line with the dispatcher until help arrives.
     a.  Medical Emergency – Please turn on outside lights and help make sure our responders can find your home.  We often spend valuable time trying to find homes down long driveways that are not well marked.  Gather a list of medications or any other important medical paperwork, such as a DNR, living will, or recent hospital discharge paperwork.
     b.  Fire – Immediately evacuate the location of the fire.  Do not return into a burning building.  Gather all occupants in a central area and wait for responders.
